DescriptionTree to 15m. Petioles 0-5mm long, blades 3-6cm long, elliptic to obovate, slightly acuminate or rounded at tip, sometimes sessile. Leathery. Midrib impressed or channelled above. Infls 3x branched, 3-8cm long; ft to 15mm diam.

NotesMedium-sized tree with ascending branches and an open crown to 15m ht. Slash granular, cacao-brown (177D), no smell. Leaves: lateral veins visible, tertiary venation visible with a lens above and below; lower surface peppered with translucent dots; crushed leaves smelling of inhalent - oil of winter-green. (RHS colour code: Leaf upper =138A, below=143C)
