Description
15m tree; bark blackish; 5mm diam. twigs hairy base acute to cordate, 12-30cm long ; apex rather rounded or slightly pointed (?in shade); (5)10-16 pairs lateral nerves, hairy when young; flower stalks c 1mm, c. 7 together, corolla 7mm with four 2mm lobes. Fruit c. 4 x 2.5cm with short pale hairs

Notes
Sapling 1 m tall with white latex in the leaf petioles. BARK: red-brown. LEAVES: US midrib guttered, secs impressed; LS midrib and secs very prominant, tertiary nerves slightly raised. (RHS colour code: Leaf upper =137A, below=137D)
