Species information

Description
Shrub to 2.5m. Stipules with 1 or 2 glandular thread-like stiff awns 4-5mm long. Leaves haiory below. Very similar to P.urbaniana which has shorter attachments on the stipules and midrib gl;abrous below. Both were not recorded from Grenada before, and are resticted to the lesser Antilles, this species to Guadeloupe, Martinique, St.Lucia and St.Vincent.
