LocationClose to the small settlement of Bajos del Arenal on track from Santa Maria de Huatulco to Bahia San Agustin.
NotesSmall branchy tree with a round crown to 5m ht. Outer bark pale greenish-brown, densely dotted with large pale tan pustular lenticels. Slash fibrous, thin green layer, then cream. Leaves: upper surface sl. glossy. Flowers in large more or less erect terminal racemes opening acropetally, calyx pale green, corolla bright yellow. Unripe pods bright mid green. Common, scattered on roadsides, in guamiles and other ruderal sites.
