Species information
DescriptionTree to 35m, cylindrical; bark dark, fissured, red within, with only low, thick butresses; Lvs clustered at twig tips, 5-12cm long in sun, rounded or notched at tip; Many straight closely parallel lateral nerves. 3-12 flowers together. Corolla tube shorter than the (6) lobes, each lobes with 2 petal-like attachments. One seed per fruit. Fruit c. 4 x 2.5cm.
