Description
Treelet to 7m; Infls amongst or below the leaves. Young twigs without hairs; leaves with minute dots and dashes. Young shoots hairless. infls 1-5 flowered; fts 5mm black.

Notes
Tree 8 m tall. BARK: smooth, white, small flat orange lenticels. SLASH: fibrous, moderately hard, pale orange-red with vertical red streaks, no smell. LEAVES: translucent dots and dashes that appear slightly darker below in reflected light, leathery; US midrib flat. FRUIT: purple. (RHS colour code: Leaf upper =147A, below=138B)
