Location
Fringes of Gran Etang Lake.

Notes
Small, slightly woody understorey shrub to 1m ht on forest edge along path. Petioles reddish, older twigs red-brown, young stems 4-sided. Leaves thin and sl rubbery, like damp paper; upper surface - main veins channeled. Fls white with 4 petals; anthers pale purple. (RHS colour code: Leaf upper =138A, below=148C)
