Interest
Psychotria - derived from Gk psychotrophon. Applied by Patrick Browne to Jamacian plants and the Greeks to betony, since grow in cold places.

Notes
3-4m treelet (to 15cm DBH) with corky white twigs and leathery lkeaves. Fruits brownish. Smooth pale outer bark. Slash white over thin green outer layer, over orange and yellow layers.
