Species information

Description
Treelet or shrub to 7m; stipules 4-8mm; lvs obocate to elliptic, 12-22cm long, apex rounded or slightly pointed; corolla yellowish white, tube 3-6mm, 5-lobed; capsule globose, 6mm diam with winged seeds.

Interest
Rondoletia - honour of Guillaume Rondolet (1507-1566), Chancellor of the University of Montpellier, and an influential professor of natural history and medicine.
