Species information
Description(Hippocrateaceae now generally included in Celastraceae) Shrub to 6m; Leaves alternate, or clustered on short side shoots, <7cm long; apex often notched. c. 3-5 prs laterals; twigs greenish, striate with several fine raised lines and grooves; fruits 5mm long, egg-shaped, pointed at tip, warty, orange-red.

NotesTree to 20cm diameter; bark flaky and fissured, fissures 3mm deep x 1cm apart. Slash pinkish, darkening, fibrous.
