Species information

Description
Lvs up to 12cm long. Margin coarsely serrated. Flowers few together in infls (rarely more than 6 ), petals white.

Interest
Named after Michel Begon (1638-1710), Govenor of French Canada and Patron of Botany. A plant of moist forest areas with pretty white flowers.

Notes
On rocks etc. White bracts; else v. yellow fls. Leaves tasting plesantly of sorrel (Rumex).
