DescriptionTree to 15m; blades 7-20cm, cordate, not serrated. Fruits 5-8 cm, 4 winged, and splitting. Separate male and female trees.

Notes?planted as a boundary tree. 4-winged fruits, mauve flowers. Young bark smooth, yellowish green. Older bark with fine vertical fissures, fibrous, rough. Slash (like Triplochiton) yellowish, fibrous, in layers, with vertical dilatation bands.
