Location10km E of St. Georges rd to Grenville, 500m W of Gran Etang Forest Reserve Boundary, just E of the Vendome Estate.
NotesLarge tree with Entadophragma branching to 20m ht. with slightly root-spurred, no buttresses. Bark surface w very fine (1/cm) vertical fissures, pale grey-brown to cinnamon brown (165D). Inner bark tinged greenish, slash pale creamy yellow (161B), fibrous, gritty, very bitter. Leaves glossy above, matt below. (RHS colour code: Leaf upper =139A, below=144A)
