Location
Jaagbo (Chinfoyiri) Sacred Grove in Tolon-Kumbugu District on Tolon - Daboya road; about 25km from Tamale. A community initiative conservation project supported by UNDP Capacity 21 Programme.

Notes
Medium-sized tree about 6m tall and 30cm dbh. Outer bark smooth and dark green. Slash pale white dark spot; very granular. Under surface of leaves rough like sand-paper. The species has been heavily debarked in the grove for medicinal purpose.
