Location
Tamale - Bolgatanga Rd. near Diare, about 20km from Tamale. Open woodland close the white Volta river.

Notes
Small tree, low branching, about 1.5 - 2m tall. Outer bark peeling off in scales leaving a smooth yellowish green bark. Flowers white turning golden yellow. Fruit oblong, ripens yellow, soft and hollow within.
