Location
Rocky hill outcrop covered by savanna woodland vegetation, surrounded by arable farmland. Associated species include: Anogeissus leocarpa, Afzelia africana, Sterculia tragacantha, Pterocarpus erinaceus, Cussonia barteri, Pouteria alnifolia etc.

Notes
Shrub, 1m tall. Fruits ripen yellow, turning red later. Black nodules align midrib.
