Location
1km E of Barra de la Cruz towards Playa.

Notes
Small tree to 5m ht. Outer bark rough and flaking in short vertical strips, mid grey-brown. Slash very hard, thin, fibrous, pale orange-green. Ripe pods mid brown, sl. curved, but much less so than material from further S in Central America. Wood reputed to be very hard and indehiscent pods to be browsed avidly by herbivores.
