Location
Close to the suspension bridge over the Rio Zimatan between Santa Maria Xadani and Petatengo.

Notes
Medium-sized tree to 15-20m ht. Outer bark mid grey-brown, shedding in small chunky more or less round irregular plates. Slash very hard, very gritty, pale orange. Leaves tough, leathery, like thin cardboard; upper surface - sl. glossy, midrib and laterals yellow, midrib sl. raised, all venation visible as >translucent; lower surface - all venation visible as >translucent; scattered translucent dots. Unripe fruits green. Riverbank with Homalium, Bumelia, Andira, Pithecellobium, and Enterolobium.
