LocationRio Zimatan, 500m S of the ford between Santa Maria Xadani and Petatengo.
NotesSmall upright tree with very angular upright branching and a narrow crown to 10m ht. Trunk and main branches deeply fluted. Outer bark orange-brown, speckled with pale tan lenticels. Slash very thin, mid green. Flowers yellow. Unripe pods pale green. Locally abundant with Ceiba aesculifolius, Gliricidia sepium, and Comocaldia, on rocky outcrops nr the Rio Zimatan.
