Species information

Description
Tree to 15m; branches v. whorled; Leaves 9-45cm long, scabrid above, hairy below, deeply channelled veins, ladder-like arrangement of finer veins; Fruit white, 5-6mm diam. with 4mm diam calyx saucer; Corolla <1cm long, white. Young twigs covered in reddish hairs. Leaves entire. (see also C. dentata which has white fruits, lvs with teeth).

zTree 14 m tall, 300 cm dbh. SLASH: cordia-like with mushroom smell. FLOWERS: cream.
