The beautiful red drink is a must at Christmas time and by drying the raw materials it is now available all year around. SORREL LIQUEUR 2 lbs cleaned sorrel 2 lbs granulated sugar 1 bottle rum 2 pieces cinnamon 2 pieces ginger Method 1. Place sorrel in a large bottle; add sugar, rum and spices 2. Cover and leave standing for three weeks 3. Strain and store in secured bottles 4. Serve with crushed ice

NotesWeed on rubbish dumpy type of wasteland at edge of forest patch. 50cm shrublet, red calyx; yellowsh and pink corolla.
