NotesSub-shrub 1.5m tall, woody at base, cystoliths on stem nodes and leaves. STEM: swelling above nodes. BARK: green-brown, thin. LEAVES: US midrib, sec. and tertiary nerves impressed; LS all nerves prominant. FLOWERS: red.
