The Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum collections are used in teaching, research and conservation. The collections include the Gardens, the Glasshouses and the Arboretum. Collectively they house over 5,000 taxa within 300 plant families. Key collections strengths include Ferns, Conifers, Basal angiosperms, Carnivorous plants, Euphorbias and The Japan Biodiversity Hotspot.
